About Us

Wilbur Charter for Enriched Academics, formerly known as Wilbur Avenue Elementary School, is an affiliated charter school, part of the Los Angeles Unified School District. The school is located in Tarzana, in the western San Fernando Valley, and opened for students in 1959.

Our Mission

Wilbur Charter for Enriched Academics seeks to create a challenging learning environment that encourages high expectations for success through developmentally appropriate instruction that allows for individual differences and learning styles. We believe learning is a collaborative effort based on utilizing our resources effectively.
